Mukesh Chhabra and Bosco Martis launch digital talent hunt

Casting director Mukesh Chhabra and choreographer Bosco Martis have launched ‘The Big Break’, a digital-first talent competition designed for modern audiences. Produced by BARD and developed by format creator Rajiv Lakshman, the competition integrates three mainstream disciplines—acting, dancing, and singing—into a single multi-platform intellectual property.

Unlike traditional television-based talent hunts, the competition utilizes Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat to scout performers. Participants can audition via their mobile phones by sending collaboration requests to the official @thebigbreakindia handle with a monologue, song, or dance routine. This social-first approach aims to make the audition process itself the primary content.

Selected performers may receive professional opportunities: acting participants gain access to a working casting studio, dancers will train under Martis, and singers will be considered for releases on Martis’s label, BLM Music. A rotating panel of Bollywood singers and composers will oversee the singing segment.
