Muğla Archery Team wins two medals at Turkey Championship

The Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Archery Team secured two medals at the 2026 Para Archery Turkey Championship (TSP-3) held in Antalya. The competition took place at the Antalya 100. Yıl Archery Facilities, beginning with ranking rounds on September 7 and concluding with individual eliminations and an awards ceremony on September 8.

In the Para Compound Bow Mixed Team category, Semray Taş Özer and İsa Umut finished second in Turkey to earn a silver medal. In the Para Compound Bow Men's Team category, İsa Umut and Günday Büyük secured a bronze medal after finishing third in Turkey.

Individually, Semray Taş Özer ranked second in Turkey based on points after completing the eliminations in fourth place. Another team member, Serpil Kanat, finished fifth in the ranking rounds for the Para Compound Bow category. Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras congratulated the athletes, emphasizing the municipality's commitment to supporting youth and athletes in all sporting disciplines.
