Muğla Armed Attack Probe Leads to Three Arrests

Turkish intelligence and the Organized Crime and Smuggling (KOM) units conducted a joint investigation into an armed attack in Muğla. The suspects had demanded 13.75 million Turkish lira from the victims and had first arrived from Aydın on 13 May for reconnaissance, later returning on 16 May to shoot the victims' car.

On 6 August, coordinated raids were carried out simultaneously in Muğla, Aydın and Van, resulting in four suspects being taken into custody. Searches uncovered an unlicensed pistol, a magazine and eight cartridges. After judicial processing, one suspect (E. G.) was released while the remaining three – E. K., F. G. and E. Y. – were detained pending trial.
