Muğla Governor attends wedding of martyr's relative

Muğla Governor Dr. İdris Akbıyık attended the wedding ceremony of Gülayşe İrem Kurt and Emre Topsakal in the Menteşe district. Kurt is the niece of Berkant Şara, a specialist sergeant who lost his life during a clash with terrorists in the Dicle district of Diyarbakır.

During the ceremony held at the Menteşe Konakaltı İskender Alper Cultural Center, Governor Akbıyık served as a witness and presented the marriage certificate to the couple. In his speech, Akbıyık emphasized that the state and the nation always stand by the families of martyrs, noting that the gathering served to honor the memory of the fallen soldier while celebrating the union of the couple.
