Muğla Hosts First International Ceramic Symposium in August 2026

The Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University and Menteşe Municipality are organizing the I International Muğla Ceramic Symposium, scheduled for 15‑30 August 2026 at Karabağlar Yaylası Narlı Kahve. The event, themed “Ancient Heritage of Ceramics from Ages to Present,” will bring together Turkish and foreign ceramic artists to showcase the craft’s millennial legacy alongside contemporary art.

Honor guest Mehmet Tüzüm Kızılcan will open the program, which includes workshops, artist talks and live demonstrations. Organizers aim to create an international sharing platform that promotes cultural exchange and positions Muğla as a key hub for ceramic art.
