Muğla local producers showcase regional products at GastroShow 2026

The Muğla Metropolitan Municipality participated in GastroShow 2026, held in Istanbul on October 9-10, 2026, to promote the region's agricultural strength and gastronomic heritage. The event brought together producer cooperatives, women entrepreneurs, and local businesses to showcase geographically indicated and regional products.

During the event, participants engaged in marketing discussions and new collaborations to expand access to different markets. A significant focus was placed on the “Zero Waste” theme, emphasizing sustainable production methods to reduce food loss and integrate agricultural waste back into the economy while protecting natural resources.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras stated that the municipality aims to protect the labor of local producers and carry Muğla's unique culinary heritage into the future by connecting cooperatives and local enterprises with wider audiences.
