Muğla Metropolitan Municipality gifts new bicycle to child affected by Seydikemer fire

Following a fire that broke out in the Bayır neighborhood of Seydikemer on July 29, 2026, the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has provided support to affected residents. Among those impacted was the Buhuroğlu family in Çatak neighborhood, whose young son, Umut Kerim Buhuroğlu, lost his bicycle in the blaze.

To assist with the recovery process, teams from the municipality’s Department of Health and Social Services visited the family and gifted Umut a new bicycle along with other presents. The family expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that the child had been deeply saddened by the loss of his belongings during the fire.
