Muğla Metropolitan Municipality holds coordination meetings with Milas mukhtars

The Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has concluded a series of coordination meetings with mukhtars (neighborhood heads) from 132 neighborhoods in Milas. The meetings were organized into four regional sessions to strengthen cooperation between local government and citizens.

During the sessions, representatives from various municipal departments—including health and social services, science affairs, mukhtar affairs, and transportation—met with the neighborhood heads to discuss local issues, citizen expectations, and ongoing projects. The goal of these meetings is to ensure that service planning is based on direct field needs rather than administrative assumptions.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras emphasized that mukhtars serve as the strongest bridge between the municipality and the public, noting that their input is vital for delivering services accurately and quickly to the residents.
