Muğla Metropolitan Municipality provides aid to fire-damaged producers

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has initiated support efforts for local producers following fires in the Seydikemer district. Following a fire that occurred on Saturday, August 29, the municipality’s Department of Agricultural Services conducted field assessments to identify damaged agricultural sites.

In one instance, the municipality provided 12 rolls of greenhouse plastic to producer Özge Durman within one day of the incident to facilitate the repair of her damaged greenhouse. The rapid delivery aims to minimize the impact of the fire on agricultural production and allow for a quick return to farming activities.
