Muğla Municipality Cycling Team to Compete in Portugal's 49th Tour

The Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kıta Bisiklet Takımı, comprising seven riders and a four‑person technical staff, will race in the 49th edition of the Portugal Tour from 9 to 12 July. The three‑day event starts in Lisbon, with each stage covering roughly 188 km, and pits the Turkish team against leading European cycling squads. Team coordinator İlker Cömert and Muğla mayor Ahmet Aras highlighted the dual goal of achieving sporting results and promoting Muğla and Turkey on an international stage. Both officials expressed pride in the opportunity to compete in one of Europe’s most prestigious road races.
