Muğla resident celebrates breast cancer recovery with city drive

Sultan Erdem, a 45-year-old resident of the Menteşe district in Muğla, celebrated her recovery from breast cancer following a 10-month treatment process. To mark the occasion, Erdem and her husband drove through the city with a sign on their vehicle reading, “I beat cancer, honk to celebrate.”

As the couple toured the city center and the Muğla bypass, passing motorists joined the celebration by honking their horns. Erdem expressed her gratitude for the support of her family and community, noting that she maintained high morale throughout her treatment, which began on November 12.
