Expointer 2026 kicks off in Esteio with agribusiness and automotive highlights

The 49th edition of Expointer, Latin America’s largest agricultural fair, is held from August 29 to September 6, 2026, at the Assis Brasil Exhibition Park in Esteio, Rio Grande do Sul. The event features approximately 2,000 exhibitors and 5,800 animals, focusing on agribusiness, technology, and environmental sustainability.

Major automotive companies are utilizing the event for commercial purposes. Ford is offering special sales conditions and discounts on Ranger and F-150 models, while Fiat is showcasing 20 vehicles, including its pickup line and the Fiat Professional division, while also supporting the Family Agriculture Pavilion.

Technical and institutional activities are central to the program. The Regional Council of Veterinary Medicine (CRMV-RS) highlighted the essential role of veterinary and zootechnical science in maintaining livestock health and records. Additionally, Federarroz will use the fair to officially launch the 37th Rice and Lowland Grain Harvest Opening, scheduled for February 2027. The event also serves as a platform for new regional initiatives, such as the launch of a tourism route integrating olive oil and wine production in Rio Grande do Sul.
