Multiple Accidents Injure Several in Baja California Sur, Mexico
A personnel transport truck overturned on the Transpeninsular highway near the Hotel Marquis in Los Cabos on Tuesday morning, leaving four people injured – three passengers and the driver. Later that night, an ambulance operated by the Sistema de Atención Médica de Urgencias (SAMU) collided with a private vehicle at the intersection of Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard and Margarita Maza de Juárez in La Paz. The crash caused the ambulance to overturn, injuring two paramedics. The driver, identified as Jaziel Agustín, was trapped and later transported to Hospital General de Zona No. 1 of the IMSS. Paramedic Mayra Isabel also required medical attention, and a 58‑year‑old patient, Juan Manuel, continued his transport on another unit.
