Multiple Fatal Road Accidents Claim Lives in India

An Indian Army Havildar, Rakesh Kumar (36), was among two people killed when a speeding SUV crashed into a tree and overturned in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district. The accident also seriously injured two other occupants, who were taken to hospitals in Jhunjhunu and Jaipur for treatment. Police launched an inquiry into the cause, including speed and vehicle condition.

In Punjab, a car rammed into a parked Haryana‑registered truck on the Jalandhar‑Maksudan Bypass Highway, killing all three occupants on the spot. The truck driver fled the scene, and authorities are tracing the vehicle owners and the victims' identities. Investigations are ongoing for both incidents.
