Multiple Injuries in Olsberg Bus‑Van Collision on K47

A severe traffic crash occurred on the K47 road between Bruchhausen and Assinghausen in Olsberg, North Rhine‑Westphalia. A bus carrying eight passengers entered the on‑coming lane and collided head‑on with a Mercedes Kombi carrying three occupants. Emergency services from several municipalities, including fire brigades, rescue ambulances, two helicopter units, and medical teams, responded to the scene. One passenger was air‑lifted to a specialized clinic with serious injuries, while five others received treatment for moderate to light injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals. No occupants were trapped in the vehicles. The road was closed for several hours while rescue and safety operations were carried out.
