Multiple road accidents reported in Romania and Moldova
Two separate serious road accidents have been reported in Romania and Moldova.
In Sibiu County, Romania, a passenger minibus collided with a horse-drawn cart on County Road 106 near Nocrich. The collision, involving a 58-year-old driver, resulted in six injuries. Victims include a 14-year-old minor and five adults, including three women and two men. Emergency crews from the Sibiu County Ambulance Service and ISU Sibiu provided medical assistance, transporting the injured to local hospitals for treatment.
In the Ungheni District of Moldova, a head-on collision occurred near the village of Petrești between a line minibus and a truck. Police reports indicate that the truck driver crossed into the oncoming lane after hitting the shoulder of the road. The accident resulted in 15 minibus passengers being transported to the Ungheni District Hospital.
