Multiple traffic accidents in Spain leave eight officials and two motorcyclists injured

Two separate road collisions in Spain resulted in injuries. In Calvarrasa de Arriba, a car struck a motorcycle on the CL‑510 roundabout at 22:44, injuring a man and a woman in their thirties. Both victims were conscious and were taken to Salamanca Hospital for treatment.

Later, a multi‑vehicle crash on the AP‑9 in Santiago de Compostela injured eight people, including three local mayors—Enrique Cabaleiro of Tui, Marta Valcárcel of Salvaterra de Miño, and Ánxela Fernández of O Rosal. The accident involved a truck, a van and a car and occurred at kilometre 72, prompting a response from emergency services and the psychological intervention team.

All injured parties were transported to nearby hospitals for medical care.
