Multiple traffic collisions and a boat capsizing reported in the Netherlands on June 13

On 13 June a series of road accidents were recorded across several Dutch provinces. A car struck the rear of a motorcycle on the A15 near IJzendoorn, sending the rider to the hospital. In De Glind a driver under the influence crashed into a tree, also requiring ambulance care. Two vehicles collided head‑on on the Sorelseweg in Epe, resulting in two injuries, while a rear‑end crash in Leeuwarden left occupants unharmed. A fire broke out at a metal‑recycling facility in Apeldoorn, prompting an extended police and fire presence, though no casualties were reported.

In the water, a sailing boat capsized on the Hearregat near Terherne; two occupants were rescued by fire‑boat crews and did not need hospital treatment. Police also detained several scooter riders for reckless or intoxicated driving in the Friesland region. The incidents led to temporary road closures and traffic delays while emergency services cleared the scenes.
