Multiple vehicle collisions in Czech Republic leave several injured

A serious multi-vehicle collision involving cars and a motorcycle occurred near the border of the Zlín and Moravian-Silesian regions, resulting in injuries to at least three people.

In one incident in Vsetín, firefighters used specialized equipment to extricate a female passenger who was trapped in a vehicle for approximately ten minutes. Emergency responders provided pre-hospital care before paramedics arrived.

In a separate but related collision involving two cars and a motorcycle near Krhová, the severity of the injuries required the deployment of an air rescue helicopter. One victim was transported to the Ostrava-Poruba Faculty Hospital, while another suffering from polytrauma was taken to the T. Bati Regional Hospital in Zlín. A third injured person was treated by paramedics from Nový Jičín.

Emergency services from both regions coordinated their response to ensure rapid medical intervention. Police are currently investigating the causes and circumstances of the accidents.
