Anuga food technology fairs open in Mumbai with record participation

The Anuga Select India and Anuga FoodTec India trade fairs have opened in Mumbai, showcasing record international participation. The events feature over 1,100 exhibitors from more than 32 countries, with expectations of over 45,000 professional visitors.

Anuga Select India focuses on the food and beverage sectors, catering to retail, gastronomy, and foodservice industries. Simultaneously, Anuga FoodTec India presents technologies for food processing, automation, packaging, food safety, and quality control. The combined platform allows for the presentation of both finished products and the production technologies required to create them.

The exhibitions highlight the rapid growth of the Indian food market. The foodservice sector is projected to grow from $85.19 billion in 2025 to $93.97 billion in 2026, while Indian agricultural exports reached $51.91 billion in the 2024/25 fiscal year.
