Mumbai Film City fire affects Pati Patni Aur Panga 2 and Hustle 5 sets

A fire broke out at Mumbai’s Film City on October 5, affecting the sets of the reality shows ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga 2’ and ‘Hustle 5’. While initial rumors suggested the blaze started on the sets of the film ‘Ramayana’, production teams for the respective shows have refuted those claims, stating the fire originated on the ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga 2’ set and spread to ‘Hustle 5’.

No casualties were reported during the incident. The ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga 2’ team noted that no filming was in progress at the time, while the ‘Hustle 5’ team reported that artists were present for a grand finale shoot but everyone remained safe.

In response to the incident, the All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The association is demanding a high-level inquiry, legal action against the production house and channel for alleged negligence, and the resignation of the Managing Director of Film City.
