Mumbai fires cause fatalities in Vile Parle and injuries in Bandra
Multiple fires in Mumbai have resulted in fatalities and injuries. In Vile Parle West, a level-II fire in a residential building overnight caused the deaths of two individuals, including a 2.5-year-old child, and left four others injured.
In Bandra West, a fire broke out in a seven-storey building on Station Road in the MK Chembur area. Seven people were hospitalized at Bandra Bhabha Hospital due to suffocation. All seven individuals are reported to be in stable condition and are receiving outpatient treatment. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Fire Brigade reported that the blaze was reported at 10:23 am on Saturday and was extinguished by 10:49 am.
