Mumbai real estate firms target growth through redevelopment and infrastructure
B-Right Real Estate Group has announced its ‘Vision 2033’ roadmap, aiming to develop approximately 4.7 million square feet of real estate in Mumbai by 2033. The company, founded in 2007, intends to maintain its focus on redevelopment and SRA projects within the city. Founder and Chairman Sanjay Nathalal Shah emphasized the importance of project-level financial discipline to ensure construction continues without total reliance on sales, alongside a commitment to governance and transparency as a BSE-listed entity.
In a leadership shift, Rudra Shah has assumed responsibility for on-ground execution and technology, while Sanjay Shah continues to oversee finance. The company also addressed the complexities of managing distressed or stalled redevelopment projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Concurrently, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region is seeing new investment activity driven by infrastructure projects such as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link and the Navi Mumbai International Airport. ORA Land has launched ‘BluBay’ in Karjat, a 60-acre luxury plotted development targeting investors, including Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), who are looking toward emerging growth corridors like ‘Mumbai 3.0’ for long-term value.
