Mumbai reports mother's murder and teenage drowning

Two separate tragedies were reported in Mumbai. In the Dadar area, a son named Edward Cruz Fernandes allegedly killed his 65-year-old mother, Regina Cruz Fernandes, during an argument regarding his unemployment and job instability. The incident occurred around midnight in their fourth-floor residence, and the victim was taken to KEM Hospital after neighbors alerted the police.

In a separate incident in Kharghar, a 15-year-old boy named Pranav Mishra died after drowning at the Pandavkada waterfall. Mishra, a resident of Kurla, went on a picnic with a group of youths on Tuesday. His body was recovered by fire brigade personnel from a 12-foot deep crevice in the rocks on Wednesday morning.
