Mumbai: Three arrested after stabbing over Free Fire game ID dispute
In Mumbai’s Santacruz East area, a dispute over a ‘Free Fire’ online game ID escalated into a violent stabbing on the night of September 30. The victim, Dilshad Shah, sustained serious injuries to his throat during the attack near St. Rock Church in Kalina.
The conflict reportedly began when Arbej Shah accused the victim’s brother, Salman Shah, of using his Facebook credentials to play the online game. Following a verbal altercation, the suspects allegedly attacked Dilshad Shah with a knife.
Wakola Police have registered a case against Arbej Shah, Musahid Vakil Ahmed Khan, Kausar Ali Jamil Shah, and Anas Syed under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Authorities have arrested three individuals—Musahid Vakil Ahmed Khan, Arbej Shah, and Kausar Ali Jamil Shah—while investigations continue regarding the role of the fourth named suspect.
