Mumuzinho and Calema headline summer music festivals in Maricá and Montemor-o-Velho

Brazilian singer Mumuzinho will perform on Saturday, 15 August, at the Festa da Padroeira de Maricá, part of the celebrations for Nossa Senhora do Amparo that run from 13 to 16 August. He shares the stage with former Rosa de Saron vocalist Guilherme Sá, while other acts such as João Gomes, Falamansa, Solange Almeida and Filho do Piseiro are also scheduled for the free shows in the city centre and the Arena da Barra.

In Portugal, the duo Calema and singer Diogo Piçarra are headliners of the Feira do Ano in Montemor-o-Velho. The eleven‑day event runs from 29 September to 8 October, offering free entry and a programme that includes artists such as Bárbara Bandeira, Mickael Carreira, KURA and Deejay Telio. The fair combines musical performances with traditional markets, crafts, agricultural displays and local gastronomy, drawing thousands of visitors to the town’s historic square.
