MUNAL hosts art and memory program for seniors

The National Museum of Art (MUNAL) in Mexico is hosting a specialized program titled ‘60 y más’ designed for senior citizens. The upcoming session, ‘Antes y después del Valle de México’, will take place on October 7 at the Patio de los Leones.

The activity combines a guided tour of landscapes by artist José María Velasco with a collage workshop. Participants will use the artwork to reflect on the historical transformations of Mexico City and share personal memories of the Valley of Mexico. The initiative aims to position the museum as a space for social interaction and shared knowledge among older adults.
