Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Malhan trade social media digs after ‘The Traitors 2’ exit

Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Malhan have engaged in a social media exchange following Faruqui’s early eviction from the second season of the reality show ‘The Traitors’. Faruqui, who was voted out as an ‘Innocent’ contestant during the first ‘Circle of Shaq’, expressed frustration over what he described as negative publicity and targeting by other contestants.

In social media posts, Faruqui suggested that those desperate to win should focus on group work in future seasons, while noting that his presence was still being discussed by contestants even after his departure. Abhishek Malhan responded to these remarks on Instagram with posts questioning who was crying and suggesting that Faruqui was simply hurt by the elimination.

During his exit on the Prime Video show, Faruqui addressed the room, stating he had expected to be targeted and attributed the move to the insecurities of others. The season’s actual ‘Traitors’ include Kullu, Krystle D’Souza, and Harman Singha.
