Muni Long criticizes estranged husband over alleged unemployment

Grammy-winning singer Muni Long has publicly criticized her estranged husband, Raysean Hairston, during a social media livestream. Long accused Hairston of being unemployed throughout their nine-year marriage and continuing to lack employment following their separation.

Long contrasted Hairston’s alleged lack of work with her own current circumstances, noting that she has continued to work while recovering from a double lung transplant. She described Hairston as a “big fine loser” and suggested she had previously suppressed her frustrations regarding their relationship and financial dynamics.

Hairston, who co-founded Long’s label, Supergiant Records, and holds songwriting and production credits on her music, has not publicly responded to the remarks. The couple, who married in 2014, announced their separation in August 2024.
