A petition initiated by commuters has gathered over 1,500 signatures to protest the proposed reduction of twelve regional trains during peak morning and afternoon hours starting in 2028. Commuters argue that the current service is already overcrowded and that reducing capacity will force more people into cars, contradicting climate goals.
