Munich court revokes building permit over neighbor distance violations

The Administrative Court of Munich has revoked a building permit for a residential project in Bavaria after a neighbor successfully challenged the construction plans. The case involved the renovation of a listed farmhouse where the former economic section was to be converted into living space.

The planned new structure, measuring approximately 19 meters in length with a ridge height of 8.6 meters, was situated only about one meter from the neighboring property line. The court ruled that the project violated regulations regarding neighbor-protecting distance areas and determined that the granted deviation from these rules was unlawful.
