Munich criminal justice center redevelopment plans revealed

The former criminal justice center at Stiglmaierplatz in Munich remains vacant following the relocation of 1,300 employees to a new facility at Leonrodplatz. To prevent vandalism and unauthorized entry, the Bavarian Ministry of Construction has installed security fencing and surveillance cameras around the premises.

The Free State of Bavaria, as the property owner, is exploring a plan to divide the prime real estate into three distinct sections. The proposed redevelopment includes areas designated for private investors, sections for publicly subsidized housing managed by the city of Munich, and space intended for state employees.
