Munich cultural events feature museum nights and art tours

Munich is hosting various cultural events, including the Long Night of Munich Museums, where over 100 museums and cultural sites offer late-night access to art, history, and science.

The Magda Bittner-Simmet Foundation is participating with specific programming, including workshops for children focused on light and shadow, as well as a guided bicycle tour. The tour, led by art historian Dr. Wolfgang Urbanczik, traces the life and work of the Munich painter Magda Bittner-Simmet through Schwabing, starting from the Academy of Fine Arts.

Other notable cultural highlights in the city include the Museum Brandhorst, which features an extensive collection of works by Cy Twombly and a unique facade made of 36,000 ceramic rods. The Haus der Kunst is also highlighted as a key destination for visitors exploring the city's diverse art offerings.
