Munich driver flees after hitting three children on bicycles

On Saturday 25 July, a 42‑year‑old man driving a VW Polo struck three girls aged 10‑11 who were riding bicycles in Munich’s Sendling district around 18:45. The driver left the scene without stopping, later colliding with a small van before continuing his escape. Police launched a hit‑and‑run investigation, seized the vehicle and the driver’s licence, and identified the suspect as a 42‑year‑old Moroccan resident of Munich. The three girls were injured; two required hospital treatment for suspected ankle fractures and the third sustained bruises.

The Munich Police are seeking witnesses and have appealed for information to support the ongoing investigation into endangering traffic and unlawful departure from the accident scene.
