Munich-Pasing station: Police investigate assaults on officers
Federal police in Munich are investigating several physical altercations and assaults on officers that occurred at Munich-Pasing station on Thursday. The incidents began around 4:30 PM when a 46-year-old Belgian national and a 63-year-old Russian national engaged in a verbal dispute in a pedestrian underpass.
When officers attempted to intervene, the Belgian man reacted aggressively, pushing an officer and attempting to strike them with a walking aid. One officer sustained a minor injury during the struggle. The Russian national also resisted arrest and struck an officer. During the encounter, the Russian man collapsed and suffered seizures, requiring first aid from the police until emergency services arrived. He was subsequently treated at a hospital.

Authorities are investigating charges including assault on law enforcement officers, resistance, and insult. Additionally, a 37-year-old individual narrowly avoided a collision after crossing the main line tracks.
