Munich school golf championship and Dreifelden charity tournament draw young players

On 28 July 2026 the Golf Club München Eichenried hosted the inaugural school‑wide golf championship for students from three northern Munich gyms. Sixteen junior golfers competed in a Stableford 18‑hole event; Lennart Jamborek led the gross score with 32 points and Lorenz Maximilian Kagerer won the net competition. The tournament was organized by the Werner‑Heisenberg‑Gymnasium and praised by its director Armin Eifertinger for fostering fairness and skill development.

A week earlier, on 26 July 2026, the Golf‑Club Westerwald e.V. in Dreifelden held a charity tournament supporting the Deutsche Kinder‑Krebshilfe. Eighty‑seven participants raised €5 050 for pediatric cancer projects. Mei Ling Terborg and Ludwig Merz captured the gross titles, while Ralf Käppele, Thomas Brück and Björn Jestrimsky led the net results. The event was backed by DekaBank as general sponsor and feeds into a national series culminating in a federal final in Bad Neuenahr.
