Munich to host major 2026 business and congress events

Several major business and development events are scheduled for Munich in 2026.

Meplan served as the official stand construction partner for the ESC Congress 2026, a significant cardiology event hosted by the European Society of Cardiology. The congress saw a record attendance of more than 33,800 participants. Meplan managed various functional areas, including the press center, workshop rooms, a health-check area, and the speakers service center, in addition to exhibitor stands.

Additionally, the city of Heidelberg will participate in Expo Real 2026, Europe’s largest real estate and investment trade fair, held from October 5 to 7. Representing the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region, Heidelberg will showcase investment and settlement opportunities, specifically focusing on the Patrick-Henry Village project. This large-scale urban development aims to create approximately 5,000 apartments for up to 10,000 residents, alongside 5,000 jobs in research, services, and commerce, with an emphasis on climate neutrality and sustainable urban design.
