Municipal Authorities in Oaxaca and Córdoba Begin Gender and Legal Training Programs

The Oaxaca State Judicial Power, through its Judicial School, conducted a series of training sessions on the "Manual del Alcalde 2026" in several municipalities, including Juchitán de Zaragoza, Tlaxiaco, and Oaxaca de Juárez. The manual aims to strengthen municipal management, decision‑making and coordination with the judiciary, especially in areas such as alternative dispute resolution and protective orders for women, adolescents and girls.

In Córdoba, the municipal government digitized the application process for a comprehensive "Gender and Human Rights" training aimed at preventing violence. While the enrollment is fully online, the training itself remains in‑person and targets public and private institutions, NGOs and community groups, covering topics from gender perspectives and violence to digital harassment and masculinities.
