Municipal chambers in Brazil announce exam updates

The Municipal Chamber of Serro, Minas Gerais, has released a public notice for a civil service examination offering two vacancies for the position of legislative technician. Organized by the Instituto Brasileiro de Gestão e Pesquisa (IBGP), the role requires a high school diploma and offers a monthly salary of R$ 3,119.88 for a 30-hour work week. Applications are open from August 12 to August 26, 2026, via the IBGP website, with an objective exam scheduled for September 13, 2026.

In Goiás, the Chamber of Faina has suspended its scheduled public examination, which was originally set for August 16. The organizing body, ITAME, announced the suspension to allow for the rectification of the schedule to include reserved vacancies for Black and Pardo candidates. The competition offers five immediate vacancies and 16 for a reserve list for various technical roles, including Internal Control, Information Technology, and Legislative Technician, with salaries of R$ 2,000.00. A new date for the examination will be announced in due course.
