Municipal city theaters in Balıkesir and Giresun launch new programs

The Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality City Theater has expanded its cultural offerings with a series of performances. Following a year of preparation, the theater premiered the traditional Turkish play ‘Kanlı Nigar’ at the Avlu Congress and Culture Center. The repertoire includes both adult and children's productions, such as the children's play ‘Karnımdan Gelen Sesler’. Upcoming scheduled performances include a repeat of ‘Kanlı Nigar’ on October 24 and the premiere of the children's play ‘Sırıtıklar’ on October 31.

In Giresun, the Giresun Municipality City Theater is introducing educational workshops aimed at youth and children. The municipality is offering directing and acting workshops for individuals aged 17 and older, with talent exams scheduled for November 18. Additionally, a drama course for children aged 8 to 13 will be available, with selection exams taking place on November 19. The drama course aims to develop imagination and self-expression through stage arts.
