Municipal committees in Heraklion and Souli to convene

Municipal committees in Heraklion and Souli are scheduled to convene to address various local administrative and developmental matters.

The Heraklion Municipal Committee will discuss eleven agenda items, including the approval of technical support services for strategic implementation, extensions for soil deformation studies in the Bouton district, and postal service procurement. The committee will also consider legal actions regarding a court decision involving Plastira Center and the transfer of funds from the abolished Primary Education School Committee to the Municipality.

The Souli Municipal Committee will meet to discuss several projects, including the creation of sports parks, digital upgrading initiatives, and urban redevelopment in Paramythia. Other agenda items include personnel selection for agricultural and economic roles under EU-funded programs, water supply network improvements in Krystallopigi, Neochori, and Karyotio, and road restoration projects.
