Municipal councils in Brazil address infrastructure and leadership changes

In Codó, Brazil, Councilman Ibrahim Neto presented several infrastructure and social assistance requests during a municipal session. His proposals include the repaving of streets in the Primavera residential complex and the installation of traffic lights at the intersection of Avenida Vitorino Freire and Avenida 1º de Maio in the Santo Antônio neighborhood. Additionally, he requested the creation of a support house in Teresina to assist local residents traveling for medical treatment.

In Campina Grande, Brazil, the City Council held its 59th ordinary session, highlighted by the departure of Councilman Luciano Breno. Breno is stepping down from his legislative mandate to lead the newly established Municipal Secretariat for Consumer Protection and Defense, which was created following the transformation of the former Procon coordination.
