Municipal Councils in Desati and Meteora to hold sessions

The Municipal Council of Desati and the Municipal Committee of Meteora have scheduled regular sessions for October 29, 2026.

In Desati, the agenda includes budget amendments for community reinforcement, requests for funding from the SAVE VOUNASSA association, and legal fees for municipal cases. Other topics involve environmental impact assessments for road projects in the Karperou-Desati area, the approval of a General Water Services Plan for 2025–2029, and discussions regarding the management of the Desati Municipal Forest.

The Meteora Municipal Committee will meet in Kalambaka to discuss legal appointments, requests for disabled parking spaces, and the establishment of an entertainment center. The session also covers school fee exemptions, extensions for music business operating hours, and the completion of rural road projects. Additionally, the committee will review budget revisions for the Meteora Open Trade Center and infrastructure restoration following storm damage in the Kastania and Aspropotamos areas.
