Municipal councils in Edirne and Bursa schedule upcoming meetings

Municipal councils in Edirne and Bursa have scheduled upcoming meetings to address various local administrative and urban development issues.

The Edirne Municipal Council, chaired by Mayor Filiz Gencan, will meet on September 7. The agenda includes the sale of municipal property in Talatpaşa, budget adjustments for the Water and Sewerage Directorate, and authorization for additional loans from the Il Bank for sewage construction in the Karaağaç neighborhood. Additionally, representatives will be assigned to attend a local climate action working group meeting in Zagreb, Croatia.

The Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Council is set to convene on September 10. Key agenda items involve significant land allocations for public use, including the creation of green spaces and parks in Demirtaş and Hamitler, and a national garden in the Zafer neighborhood. Other topics include a facade revitalization project in Tirilye, the construction of a fire station in Keles, and the relocation of a children's activity center in Karacabey.
