Municipal councils in Guarulhos and Lins review legislative projects
The Guarulhos City Council is scheduled to hold a session on Monday, October 5, to vote on several legislative projects. Key items include a second-round vote on Project 202/2026, which revokes laws regarding the use of municipal property by the Fraterno Auxílio Cristão Nossa Senhora da Conceição, and Project 199/2026, which establishes a support point for pilgrims traveling to Aparecida-SP.
Other matters include the potential de-designation of public areas for sale or exchange, a review of an executive veto regarding the outsourcing of bus stop maintenance, and the presentation of the 2027 municipal budget estimate.
In Lins, the 29th ordinary session resulted in the approval of the Municipal Early Childhood Plan and a law establishing service gratifications for CIPA members. Additionally, the council approved additional credits for the Secretariats of Education and Culture and Tourism, and approved the naming of a street in the Residencial Himalaia II allotment.
