Municipal councils in Saint-Pierre-du-Vauvray and Épernon hold September sessions

Municipal councils in Saint-Pierre-du-Vauvray and Épernon held sessions in September 2026 to address local administrative and infrastructure matters.

In Saint-Pierre-du-Vauvray, Mayor Jérôme Bourlet de la Vallée presented financial commitments made over the summer. These include projects for road safety on Rue de Paris and the Route Nationale exit at Ile du Bac, as well as school canteen upgrades involving new electrical installations and equipment. The council also discussed funding for mobile library workshops.

In Épernon, the council agenda included the creation of a local terroir and craft market, as well as the establishment of regulations and pricing for a Christmas market. Other initiatives discussed include the creation of a volunteer club and municipal councils for children, youth, and seniors. Additionally, the town approved a partnership with the French Red Cross to manage civil security risks in the event of disasters.
