Municipal education centers report high university placement success

Municipal education centers in Turkey are reporting high success rates for students participating in the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS).

In Çiğli, the ÇİBEM center reported that its students successfully placed into various undergraduate programs, including Engineering, Law, Political Sciences, and Fine Arts, as well as various vocational schools. Çiğli Mayor Onur Emrah Yıldız emphasized that the program aims to provide equal opportunities for students to reach their academic goals regardless of economic conditions.

Similarly, the KARBEM center in Karabağlar achieved a 75.5 percent placement rate, with 111 out of 147 students securing university spots. Placements included Medicine, Law, Engineering, and Health Sciences. Karabağlar Mayor Helil Kınay noted that the institution plans to expand by opening a third branch to continue supporting local youth.
