Ciudad Juárez implements economic reforms and environmental sanctions

In Ciudad Juárez, Mayor Héctor Rafael Ortiz Orpinel has announced several initiatives aimed at local economic development and regulatory compliance. The municipal government has implemented the "Cruzada por tu Mercado" program at the Parque Hidalgo market to improve infrastructure, such as installing lighting, and to integrate local merchants into the urban structure.

To support business growth, the administration is working on regulatory improvements and reducing paperwork for new companies, while highlighting the city's medical tourism potential. Additionally, a company managing a tire collection center has been sanctioned with a total of 525 UMAs for environmental and safety violations. The city has set a September 30 deadline for the installation of a tire shredding plant to address long-standing waste accumulation.

Other regional developments include the third edition of the Mercadito Bicentenario in Xalapa to promote local artisans, and a new entrepreneurship strengthening program in San Antonio de Arredondo focused on professionalizing business management. Meanwhile, in Cauto Cristo, authorities have formed a multidisciplinary group to enforce electronic payment acceptance and promote banking.
