Municipal guards in Nowa Ruda and Wrocław celebrate 35-year anniversaries

Municipal guard services in Poland celebrated significant milestones during recent ceremonies in Nowa Ruda and Wrocław.

In Nowa Ruda, the City Council honored three officers—Commander Mirosław Kalitowski and Senior Inspectors Roman Ziemiecki and Piotr Przybylski—for 35 years of service. The officers received commemorative swords to mark their long-term dedication to the city's residents.

In Wrocław, celebrations were held at the City Hall to mark the 35th anniversary of the Wrocław Municipal Guard and Municipal and Commune Guard Day. The event, attended by Mayor Jacek Sutryk and local councilors, included the presentation of medals and decorations to officers with 20, 25, and 30 years of service. The ceremony also highlighted the 30-year history of the Mounted Patrol Department.
