Municipal infrastructure projects launched in O Porriño and Coria

The municipality of O Porriño has inaugurated a new 557-square-meter multi-sport area near Campo da Feira. The facility includes a football pitch equipped for futsal and handball, as well as a 3x3 basketball court with vandal-resistant equipment. The project also features a renovated bio-health zone, new drainage systems, a public water fountain, and improved landscaping with new trees and ornamental species.

In Coria, the local government has opened a tender for the construction of a Traffic Children's Park within the municipal sports center. With a base budget of approximately 34,634 euros, the project aims to create a dedicated circuit for children to learn road safety, traffic signaling, and civic behavior using bicycles and similar vehicles. The works are expected to be completed within one month of the contract signing.
